Too bad April Fool's Day is over, I'm gonna send this to my sisters and tell them I have secretly married here in a quickie setup. I'm too sleepy to tweak it properly! Blackout Curtains

I have no clue why the architect of this building had designed to have windows covering the entire one side of my room. I usually have seen one or two panels, but havent encountered an entire side yet.

Unfortunately there were a few weeks of May that were extremely hot. My Saturday sleeps had been very much disturbed as I woke up sweating despite the aircon set at 18deg. Note that I am a ‘ginawin’ person to some extent. The sunlight passing through is just too much. This building is the first one in the block and there are no taller buildings or trees to cover the sun whatsoever.

Luckily I learned from a housemate that there is such thing called ‘blackout’. These are the types of curtains that hotel actually use. As the name implies, it aims to ‘black out' the surrounding. The cost is just a little higher than ordinary curtains. But I must say every cent is worth it!

Here’s a comparison, the left side is an ordinary thick curtain (note that is it very thick already but the sun penetrates through it easily), the right side is the blackout.


Amen to that, back to my sound weekend sleep.

Snapshot Talent

I've been 'petix' for more than 2 weeks after the first phase of the project has finished cut-over. I'm running out of sites to surf everyday, it's hard to pretend AIDS (As If Doing Something) :). Of course I am not complaining, I'm enjoying the meaning of 'work-life balance' at its peak. hehe

It's only recent that I get to tinker with a celfon that has a decent resolution-camera. I've just learned a few edit options. It's actually just inserting plain text, frames, clip-arts, into the images. I forgot to scale the images to a higher resolution, tsk.

I definitely love the last shot. I couldnt believe that it's
allowable to sleep (as in literally higa!) in the office. The one sleeping is a developer. Oh by the way, the fat guy at the back is his team lead. I couldnt stop laughing. Talk about being the 2nd Global IT Consulting company in their country. Whatever! haha

I'm beginning to think I'm quite good in capturing 'kodak' moments. :)

My mind has been wandering. The sky is blue.

A beautiful island surrounds me, and I'm immersed in the springtime dews descending in the midst of oblivion. The scent lingers in the depths of the soul. It feels good to just cast your cares away and intently appreciate the natural essence of living and enjoying the subtleness of what it means to be one with harmony.

And now the sky is gray.

So many words are surfacing above the still waters, but somehow left unspoken. Feel with your heart and and let it set you free. It reaches out but the hands are far away. The waves engulf my all. The magnificence, and yet the harshness of the fathoms.

The clouds start appearing.

Bizarre fragments started crystallizing in the mind with backdrop of the breath-taking view.If you're a ship, I'd be your propellers,If you're a can, I'd be your opener,But if you're just you, I just want to be your pillow.

Rain starts pouring.

It was like crossroads proportional to time. So many fishes in the ocean with their exquisite royalty. I stop and marvel, wondering if you'd stop and let me in? Eternity, should I relinquish and be a jewel, a gem, or a diamond? Whirlwinds dancing with rhythms from heaven, magnetize me. Unperturbed and strayed till I notice I was thrown back to where i started. Reverberation and numbness of the equinox.

Now comes the sun..

Unparalleled, the light that illuminates from within. The torch that carries the seal. It knows when it finds one, it could fasttrack by itself because of the force that could surpass the myriads. Indulge and it will shine like stars, enchanting. Explore and magic befalls to those who have the will.

The moon dances its way too (the sun and the moon again).

The melodies echoed with sweet sensations. Phenomenal that is. The notes hit me hard, transcend thru the inner spirit that jerks me off from gravity. Soaring and glancing back as it reaches the peak. I know I will be one.

Embraced by awe and elan, I was reborn by this fusion.
