Taking the Road not Taken



Probably the only poem that has left an impression in a person like me with a short attention

span is this one. Though sometimes I am capable of making 'unpopular' decisions, however with regard to essential decisions in life, I 'chicken out' at times.

What is an unpopular decision after all? How much courage do you need? How big can you risk? How do you stick to it through thick and thin? I dont know the answers.

Isnt it always easy to 'join the bandwagon'. Bandwagon is an interesting term. Companionship counts. When you fail on on your own, you will get scared easily and eventually you'll start scaring yourself. However when you fail in groups, there's a hand to push everyone a little further when the road seems tough.

How much of a non-conformist are you? Oh well, as the saying goes, only time can tell. :)

The Road Not Taken
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Kung unpopular choices, appear tayo dyan. Im also one of those people known for taking the less obvious path . Kita mo naman kung ano pinagagawa ko sa career ko . hehehe . Anyway its a matter of perspective, kung may nakikita kang iba na hindi kita ng ibang tao at sa tingin mo tama yun. Why not, dive in. See you in singapore. hehehe
