Posting Habits

In case you notice, I normally don't mention names online. Especially my family, I don't like sharing their pictures in public. I don't know, maybe it's a sign of security protection. (I just have this mindset na ayoko lng mandamay ng iba)

3 Common Pitfalls: (in my definition)
1) Frequent namedropping
- I find it silly to see labelling pictures (in friendster or the likes) based on names of people appearing in the image. 2 or 3 people should still be fine, but anything more than 5 that doesn't make sense. Does everyone need to know who you are with?

2) Showing your Itinerary
- I usually post things that have happened, not those that are about to happen. I don't think it's a good idea to maintain a public scheduler, unless you are comfortable with that. Also don't agree with showing personal contact details like address and phone#s online. I remember some people complaining that they are being 'stalked' because of their posts.. Aint it stupid? :p

3) Unrotated pictures
- This one is real funny. I occasionally see people posting inverted pictures online. I dont think there's a valid excuse of not knowing how to flip/rotate pictures for any literate person age 28 and below. Come on it's already the PC-age, we all reached the period of using computers, at least in college days.

Sorry, just some harsh observations. :)
