Pitstop for March-April

Random Thoughts:

Anniv Vacation
Glad that I managed to survive in SG for one year. Apart from achieving a little sense of security at work, attending different leisure classes, finally I was able to squeeze in a fun vacation to Thailand with my good friend, one of the top spots in my priority list :p. So many temples, shopping spree, spicy food, and my fondest memory would be the Chao Phraya river cruise, with good food add to it a saxophone performance. I was amazed by my kumare how organized she is as a travel partner, well-planned and worthwhile trip!

Welcome to My New Room
Finally had the privacy that I well-deserved. (haha tanga talaga ako bkit ako nagpauto at naghintay nang ganon katagal, martyr!) I like this new room. Cabinet is big enough for my clothes. I have a big study table with a rotating chair (like the typical type in offices). I have a book shelf, (na pinuno ko ng abubot stuff from Ph and not books :p) Aircon is in good condition. And most of all, I have a comfy queen-sized bed! I've bought curtains, bedsheets, comforters, etc. Be my guest, welcome to my humble room and cozy bed. (haha parang iba ang dating ah)

Breaking a Monotony
Posted my glamour pic in friendster, nagmumukhang tao pla kapag inaayusan. Posted my multiply site. I think I am breaking a little away from the usual secretive side. Haha tumatanda na, ndi na nagpapaka-misteryoso.

Going Home?
I really dont know. Probably anyone in my situation would have applied for permanent residency here by now. Still, I have doubts. I know eventually I will still go back to Ph, give me some time, a year or so, my to-do-list here has beent accomplished yet. :) Somehow I think I wont find my lifetime partner here hehe. I know he should be somewhere out there, or probably I'm holding on to something that I don't even know? Weird. :p

Chasing the Bus
My regular exercise now is chasing the bus. The route to the client office: bus from house to MRT, MRT to Jurong (45min) and quick bus from Jurong to Business Park. I really hate it why this Business Park bus is so special that it only takes passenger every 30 minutes after 930am. It's not walking distance, and I dont want to take a cab everyday for that short ride, mahal din noh! Talk about discipline on waking up early, wala ako nun :)

Lucky
In this client site, food is very cheap in their canteen, decent Chinese dishes. Before I used to just take 2 ulam, but now I would ask for a normal big serving of rice (mga babae d2 nagrerequest lagi ng half serving) and 3 ulams for just 2sgd! Cheapest in SG. Finally I got to realize how lucky I am for not gaining too much weight with my appetite. I used to think that I am fat (kasi naman payat lahat mga kapatid ko!) I have a few friends who are very conscious of what they eat, the type who would cut down on meat intake to slim down. And here I am thinking of the next buffet foodtrip hehe. For once, I'm on the lucky side. :)
